An Evening to Celebrate…
On October 15, 2011, when the sun set and the stars sparkled in the night sky, the Phoenix Zoo came alive as nearly 700 Valley philanthropists celebrated our second annual Rendez-Zoo, An Evening of Conservation and Cuisine.
The evening was filled with delectable fare, paired with fantastic wines and cocktails from some of the Valley’s leading chefs and beverage purveyors. Our generous donors showed their commitment to the Phoenix Zoo, by placing bids on several fine items and amazing one-of-a-kind experiences in our Silent and Live Auctions.
Through table sponsorships, individual reservations, auctions and donations, Rendez-Zoo 2011 raised nearly $500,000. All proceeds from the evening will help sustain and expand our world-renowned conservation programs, as well as our education and animal care initiatives.
Thank you to our sponsors, donors, volunteers and staff for your dedication and commitment to the Zoo. We hope you will join us next year, as we celebrate the Phoenix Zoo’s 50th Anniversary and our continued success in conservation.
