Want your drawing to come to life? Create a unique look for the stegosaurus below and your design could be used to custom paint a dinosaur!

- Color in the picture of the stegosaurus. (Let your creativity run wild!)
- Return your entry to the Zoo.

Entries may be hand-delivered to the Zoo, mailed or emailed.
To hand-deliver: Drop the entry off at the Zoo’s Guest Services desk during regular business hours.

Come to the Zoo and check out the first dinosaur in our upcoming exhibit Dinosaurs in the Desert… the citipati! This new Zoo resident has been custom painted in the color scheme of the Chiricahua leopard frog- a true conservation success story at the Phoenix Zoo.
Did you know? The Chiricahua leopard frog (Lithobates chiricahuensis) is listed as ‘vulnerable’ on the IUCN Red List. The Phoenix Zoo’s Chiricahua Leopard Frog Head-starting and Release Program is one of the flagship efforts of the Zoo’s Conservation and Science Department and is responsible for the release of over 23,000 leopard frogs.
Contest is open to Arizona residents ages 3 – 12 years old. Five (5) finalists will be chosen– one from each of the following age groups: 3 – 4, 5 – 6, 7 – 8, 9 – 10, and 11 – 12 years old. Winners will be announced at the Zoo’s Prowl & Play event and online on August 12, 2017. Each finalist will receive a Family Four Pack of tickets to the event and a Dinosaur Prize Package. Two (2) grand prize winners will each have their designs painted on a stegosaurus that will be part of the Dinosaurs in the Desert exhibit opening October 2017. All entries become the property of the Phoenix Zoo and may be used in promotional materials and products.
