Earth Day – It’s a party for the planet!  April 20, 2008 9-3p.m.

You are invited to a party, a “Party for the Planet”, that is! Earth Day this year at the Phoenix Zoo will be celebrated on April 20th from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.  The mother earth festivities will include games, activities and information.  Learn what you can do to help protect our Earth and all that inhabit it!   Free with general zoo admission.

Fun things to do at Earth Day:

• Come see the fabulous barrels of the 2nd Annual Barrel Project!
• Learn about being a responsible consumer.
• Learn easy things YOU can do everyday, to help protect our planet.
• Make a pledge to be a friend of the planet!
• See our live animal shows at 10:30, noon & 1:30 p.m.
• Special Earth Day discount of $2 off regular admission when you bring in an old cell phone for recycling!
