Phoenix Zoo Conservation Science Night

Friday, February 22, 2013
6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Free with Advanced Registration
All ages welcome

Celebrate the SciTech Festival at the Phoenix Zoo with our Conservation Science Night. Put on your science hat and become a conservation scientist with hands-on activities, participate in a live discussion with real conservation scientists and visit the Zoo's Arthur L. and Elaine V. Johnson Conservation Center. The event is free, but advanced registration is required as space is limited.

Doors open at 6 p.m.

At 6:30 we'll start off with a presentation and discussion with our Conservation Scientists. They'll share stories about their work and the science and technology they use to work with endangered and threatened species.

Starting at 7 p.m., become a conservation scientist by participating in a variety of hands-on activities that relate to the work done every day at our Conservation Center. Portions of the Conservation Center will also be open for viewing until 8:30 p.m.

The event is outdoors so please dress appropriately!

Space is very limited. Call 602.914.4333 to register.
