ABOUT THE BANDS:
The Fixx is a British new wave band formed in 1980. Renowned for their live concerts, the Fixx regularly tour the U.S., and recently celebrated 25 years of making music together. They are perhaps best remembered for their song "One Thing Leads To Another", from their most successful album Reach the Beach from 1983. Their other hits include "Red Skies", "Stand or Fall", "Saved by Zero", "Sign of Fire", "Are We Ourselves?", "Secret Separation", "Driven Out", "How Much Is Enough?" and "Deeper and Deeper" which was featured on the soundtrack of Streets of Fire, as well as "A Letter to Both Sides" which can be found on the Fletch soundtrack.

The Beat, known in America as The English Beat was formed in the English city of Birmingham in 1978. The band released three albums and a string of well-crafted singles including "Mirror in the Bathroom", "Best Friend", "Save It For Later" and "I Confess".

SECOND STAGE ADDED!
A second stage has just been added in the Plaza area, featuring Obadiah Parker and Seconds to Breathe! Obadiah Parker are best known for their hit remake of the Outkast hit “HEY YA”, and Seconds to Breathe are best known for winning Mix 96.9’s Have A Nice Gig Contest, and opening for Bon Jovi at Jobing.com Arena in March of 2006.

ABOUT THE PHOENIX ZOO:
The Phoenix Zoo is one of the largest non-profit zoos in the United States. With over 125 acres of land and 2.5 miles of walking trails, the Phoenix Zoo is a big place. No one knows this better than the 1.4 million annual visitors that visit the Phoenix Zoo each year (second only to the Grand Canyon!). We rely on fundraising events, memberships, guest admissions and concessions in order to operate and care for over 1, 300 animals in our collection.

DISCLAIMER
All elements, including but not limited to the performers, vendors, activities and ticket prices are subject to change without notice. Tickets and sponsorships are non-refundable. Refunds will not be issued in case of event cancellation due to inclement weather. ID's and all purses and bags will be checked at the door. Please remember that Zoo Brew takes place throughout the Zoo and comfortable walking shoes and attire are recommended. If you require special accommodations at the event, please contact wdean@thephxzoo.com.

Zoo Brew proceeds benefit the Phoenix Zoo in conjunction with the Phoenix Zoo Auxiliary. Your contribution will care for and support our animals and enable us to continue offering interactive educational programs to inspire and promote human stewardship of the natural world and all of its creatures. The evening lasts only a few hours but the impact of Zoo Brew proceeds last a lifetime. Thank you for supporting the Phoenix Zoo.
