WHY DO VENDORS LOVE ZOOFARI?
One of the main reasons many vendors like to participate in
ZooFari is simply that it gives them a tremendous amount of
exposure and value for their dollar while helping the
non-profit Phoenix Zoo. Proceeds from ZooFari 2008 benefit
the construction of a new night house for the Bornean
Orangutans at the Phoenix Zoo.
As a Food Vendor for ZooFari, at no cost to you, your
organization will receive:
• A 12’x12’ space including:
o Three 6 foot tables
o Two (2) black linens
o Proper electrical power
o One clip-light
o a gravity fed water source or running water, soap, paper towels,
a water catch and in some cases a ground cover
tarp
• Up to 1,000 pieces of tableware to Vendors who return the
Tableware Request Form by Monday, June 30, 2008.
• One (1) volunteer to assist with your booth during the
event
• Six (6) Vendor Passes for your staff working the booth
• Marketing Opportunities
o Your logo and link to your website on the ZooFari webpage (logo
needed no later than Friday, August 1, 2008)
o Recognition in available print materials, which may include
programs, flyers and posters (where available)
o Recognition as a participant in Wild Times Magazine, distributed
to over 40,000 households
o Forms for which you can collect guests information for your own
marketing purposes during ZooFari
• Tickets
o Two (2) Complimentary General Admission Tickets to the event
o Twenty (20) Complimentary Tickets to “Thank You Night at
ZooLights” on Friday, November 14, 2008 from 6pm-
10pm
• Tax receipt for the value of your food or beverage
sampling donation, minus the value of any tickets we are
providing
for you.
As a non-profit organization, the Phoenix Zoo asks that
all vendors provide:
• Provide at least 2,500 samples of food for guests
• While the Phoenix Zoo will provide the first 1,000 pieces
of paper product, we ask that your organization provide the
remaining 1,500 pieces of paper product necessary for sampling.
Tableware includes napkins, plates, bowls, utensils,
cocktail glasses, ice, etc.
• Provide the equipment necessary to prepare and/or serve
your tasting samples
• All necessary paperwork including but not limited to
General Liability Insurance Certificate, Vehicle Insurance,
Workman’s Compensation Insurance, Catering or Special Event Permit,
etc.
• Provide support for the event including flyer/poster
display & distribution, E-Blasts to employees and/or
restaurant
database, website promotion, bill stuffers, printed materials and
advertising (where applicable)
