The following dates are reserved for Girl Scout troops to spend the night at the Phoenix Zoo. Each night is prepared for a specific scout level and badge work.  Camps consist of guided trail hikes, animal discoveries and educational activities. Our diverse offerings are suited to fit many needs and help girls accomplish specific badge requirements.

If your troop has a minimum of 25 participants, you also have the option to schedule a camp on the date of your choosing (based on availability). Please see our Custom Group Camps information for more details.

Twilight Camp
6:15 – 9:30 p.m.
Twilight Camp includes a healthy evening snack, plus a souvenir water bottle.

Standard Overnight Camp
6:15 p.m. – 9 a.m.
Standard Overnight Camp includes a pizza dinner, healthy evening snack, continental breakfast, plus a souvenir water bottle. Sleeping accommodations are shared-space offered at different exciting Zoo locations, including Desert Tents, C.W. & Modene Neely Education and Event Center, Stone House Pavilion and Windmill House at Harmony Farm.

Wilderness Experience Camp
5:30 p.m. – 9 a.m.
Wilderness Experience Camp includes BBQ dinner (hamburgers, hot dogs and upon request, veggie burgers), s’mores for evening snack, continental breakfast, plus a souvenir water bottle. Sleeping accommodations are five person tents set up in Plaza de los Niños.

Daisies 3 Cheers for Animals Twilight Camp | April 7, May 4
Your Daisy Girl Scout troops can earn their Daisy petals and have an adventure at the Zoo after hours! This memorable experience includes guided nighttime trail hikes, up-close animal encounters, hands-on activities, a late night snack and a Night Camp souvenir water bottle. Camp ends at about 9:30 p.m., making it perfect for younger campers who prefer to sleep in their own beds.

Brownie Bugs | April 13, April 27, May 5, May 11, May 18
Your Brownie troop will work towards earning their Bugs badge during this camp. See bugs in action, take a bug field trip and explore bug homes with us! This memorable experience includes dinner, guided nighttime trail hikes, up-close animal encounters, hands-on activities, a late night snack and a Night Camp souvenir water bottle.

Brownie Senses | April 6, May 26
Your Brownie troop will work towards earning their Senses badge during this camp. Use your five senses to explore all the Zoo has to offer! This memorable experience includes dinner, guided nighttime trail hikes, up-close animal encounters, hands-on activities, a late night snack and a Night Camp souvenir water bottle.

Junior Habitats | April 6, May 4, May 11, May 19
Your Junior troop will work towards earning their Animal Habitats badge during this camp. Observe animals’ natural behaviors, learn how we care for them and how you can make a difference for wild animals, too! This memorable experience includes dinner, guided nighttime trail hikes, up-close animal encounters, hands-on activities, a late night snack and a Night Camp souvenir water bottle.

Dinosaurs (Multi-level) | March 2, April 27
Have a dino-mite night at the Zoo! Enjoy an after-hours tour with these prehistoric giants, become a paleontologist for the night and experience up-close encounters with the animals.
This memorable experience includes dinner, guided nighttime trail hikes, up-close animal encounters, hands-on activities, a late night snack and a Night Camp souvenir water bottle. Join us for this unforgettable Night Camp, available only in Spring 2018!
