PHOENIX ZOO IS SIMPLY THE ‘BEST’ FOR KIDS!
Users of azcentral.com, the website of the state’s largest daily newspaper The Arizona Republic, voted for the Phoenix Zoo in a sweep of children’s categories through an annual online vote at the paper’s website, azcentral.com. The Zoo was ranked a top
pick in three kids categories and was also chosen for having the best annual event, ZooLights.

Hundreds of thousands of voters made their choices in more than 100 categories. The Phoenix Zoo was named the ‘Best’ Kid Friendly Attraction, Place to Take the Kids on a Day Off, and Entertainment Value for Families.

The Zoo’s annual ZooLights holiday lighting event is one of the most popular season events in the state, and each year its 2 million lights and light displays are seen by more than 250, 000 guests over the 40 days of the event.

The Phoenix Zoo is one of the state’s most popular year-round attractions, and is visited by more than 1.5 million guests annually. The Zoo also boasts more than 42, 000 membership households.
