Wild Dogs
The Zoo is now home to a small pack of African wild dogs—all males and brothers from the same litter. They are now just one year old, but still frolic and play like puppies. They have been on exhibit on the Africa Trail (down the trail from baboons) for just about a month and are doing very well—in fact, they've even been spotted cooling off and playing in the moat that surrounds the front of their exhibit. They are beautiful animals that are native to Africa. These dogs can run up to 30 miles per hour for very long distances and are very active and social.
