Zoo Babies! Black Footed Ferrets
As part of black footed ferret conservation project, the Phoenix Zoo is pleased to announce the birth of six black footed ferret kits in April 2008. This is the first litter we've had in two years. We are not certain of the reason, but last year the breeding program did not successfully produce any kits. We have several more females that are showing signs of being ready to breed and we hope to have a good year for baby ferrets.
