Family ZooVenture

Hey, families! Looking for something fun for kids to do at home? Our virtual Family ZooVenture programs bring the Phoenix Zoo’s animals to you in a whole new way. Connect with a live Zoo educator as we have fun while learning about the animals that call the Phoenix Zoo home. These 30 to 45-minute programs feature kid-friendly antics and activities including animals making music and getting squeaky clean, kids helping search for clues as Zoo detectives and time to get the wiggles out while doing animal aerobics.

For children 3 – 8 years old. Each program covers a different topic with unique, kid-friendly activities. Virtual programs are held through Zoom. Join us!

This program is designed for households, not for larger groups. If you’re looking for programming for a larger youth/educational group (child care centers, camps, etc.), we have something special just for you! Check out Distance Learning or Ask a Zoo Expert.

For adult groups, corporate parties or team building, or any other non-academic group gathering check out our Phoenix Zoo: Live Online.

Ever boogie with a bird? Ever sing with a siamang? Well now is your chance! Tune in to explore some of the Zoo’s more musical animals in Nature’s Rockstars.

Come join the Zoo educator as we give our animal ambassadors the opportunity to paint whatever their hearts desires. Once they finish creating their masterpieces, you will be sent a small piece of their work!

What would a snake paint? How about an armadillo? Wait, how do they paint? Register to find out!

Want to know what makes a bird a bird, and what makes each type of bird special? Join us, and together we will compare the body parts of birds and learn how they adapted to their environment, while meeting animal ambassadors along the way!

Calling all detectives and those who love mysteries! Something strange has happened at the Zoo. In this edition of Zoo Detective some palm fronds ended up in an unusual spot. Put on your detective hats as we look for clues and find the animal culprit.
