Homeschool Days:
Join the Phoenix Zoo at Homeschool Days for a morning dedicated to homeschool families and groups. The morning will be filled with STEM based learning stations, animal interactions and exploring science-based careers. Stations will feature bat surveying, big cat identification, conservation projects the Phoenix Zoo is a part of, and more!
Participants will have full access to zoo pathways for the entire day to visit zoo exhibits as well.
Perfect for Homeschool groups and families with learners 5-17 years old, though all ages are welcome.
Dates: 10/29/25 & 2/25/26
Time: 9 a.m. – Noon
Cost: $20 general | $10 members
Outreach Live on Location:
Let the Zoo come to you! Our fun, interactive outreach programs include an educator and 3-5 ambassador animals right to your classroom, organization or event. These programs are a great way to add impact to any setting and are tailored to each age group from PreK to High School or Adult.
Nature Play:
Join us on the first Saturday of the month for unstructured outdoor play! Kids can explore the Zoo’s “enchanted forest”, and caregivers can learn how to take nature play home.
Nature play is child-directed play in nature and with nature. Nature play can happen in the smallest natural and wild areas, all ages of children can participate, it can happen in any weather and during all seasons.
Date: First Saturday of the Month (October – May)
Time: 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Location: Enchanted Forest
General admission ticket is required. Zoo Members only 8:30 – 9 a.m.
Conservation Science Night:
Join us for an exciting evening celebrating the Phoenix Zoo’s conservation efforts! Engage with conservation scientists and discover the impactful work we’re doing to preserve species in Arizona. This is a family-friendly event and there is something for everyone!
