Triceratops horridus

One of the most well-studied dinosaurs, Triceratops is known for its iconic brow horns that scientists believe could reach over seven feet in length. Commonly used in combat with other Triceratops, they were also used as defense against the ultimate land predator of the prehistoric world, Tyrannosaurus rex.
Scientists have found the bones of tyrannosaurs with gouge marks from Triceratops horns, including a skull with a pierced eye socket and braincase!
