Allosaurus fragilis

Allosaurus was the largest land carnivore of the late Jurassic Period. Possessing an appetite for supersized animals, it used its flexible jaws like a snake to gulp down huge mouthfuls of meat.
Fossil evidence reveals clashes between Allosaurus and Stegosaurus. Discoveries include a Stegosaurus back plate with an Allosaurus bite mark and an Allosaurus vertebra with a puncture wound the size of a Stegosaurus tail spike.
