Ankylosaurus magniventris
"fused lizard with a great belly"
Built like a prehistoric tank, Ankylosaurus was one herbivore that predators did not want to mess with. Its tail ended in a club made of heavy, fused bone that could shatter the legs of even the fiercest predators like Tyrannosaurus rex.
It also had a body covered in thick bony plates called osteoderms that acted as a suit of armor. It even had osteoderms on its eyelids!
