Psittacosaurus is a genus of dinosaurs consisting of roughly 12 species, perhaps more, which is the most of any non-avian dinosaur genus.
In 2004, a fossil cluster was found consisting of 34 juvenile Psittacosaurus skeletons and one larger skull. Research suggests that the older animal was a subadult babysitter and that they all died at once, probably due to a volcanic mudflow.
