Segisaurus gets its name from Tsegi Canyon in Navajo County, Arizona, where its fossil remains were found in 1933 by a man named Max Littlesalt. The specimen consists of a near-complete skeleton without a skull and is thought to have been a subadult.
Known for its slim, bird-like build, Segisaurus was very agile and likely hunted small animals like lizards and insects.
