Tyrannosaurus rex’s reputation as the most fearsome dinosaur of all is well deserved. Its giant head and muscular neck supported shockingly powerful jaws, which could crush the bones of the heftiest prehistoric herbivores.
T. rex was not only physically imposing; it had a sophisticated brain, suggesting that its senses of sight, smell and hearing were excellent as well.
