AZ GIVES DAY
ARIZONA GIVES DAY
Led by AZ Impact for Good, Arizona Gives Day on April 7 is a powerful opportunity for our community to come together and support organizations that make a lasting difference, including the Phoenix Zoo. Giving during this statewide day of generosity offers the chance to maximize their impact through prize and matching opportunities.
DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT
The Phoenix Zoo is building the Doornbos Animal Rescue and Care Center, a new quarantine facility essential for maintaining the health and well-being of the Zoo’s animal residents. Your support helped unlock the full $10,000 matching gift generously provided by Gael Parks, but we can’t stop now.
Thanks to the generosity of longtime supporters Max and Mary Palenica, every dollar you give will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $20,000 through April 30. That means your gift immediately goes twice as far to help animals in need. Plus, help the Zoo win prizes for participating in Arizona Gives Day by making your donation on April 7.
With your help, this facility will enable the Zoo to expand its role in rescuing and caring for animals confiscated from the wildlife trade as well as injured, abandoned or orphaned wildlife. Your support will also provide a safe space for animals to adjust before moving to permanent homes, ensure thorough health assessments, and protect the entire Zoo community by reducing the risk of disease transmission.
