Sensory Friendly Options
On the 9th of each month, November through April, the Zoo will host sensory friendly hours at Dinosaurs in the Desert.
-November 9, December 9, January 9, February 9, March 9, April 9 from 8 – 11 a.m.
-All dinosaur movement will be turned off.
-All dinosaur sound will be turned off.
-All music at the entry of Dinosaurs in the Desert will be turned off.

Dinosaurs in the Desert will be an entirely new exhibition this year, but it first came to the Phoenix Zoo in 2017. It was a massive hit with guests, and we were proud to connect with millions of dinosaur fans throughout the world. Check out a few photos from 2017 below, courtesy of Dave Seibert.
