DINOSAURS IN THE DESERT
BREAKING NEWS: Dinosaurs are invading the Phoenix Zoo!
Extinction is overrated. Dinosaurs are back! The ancient ancestors of every bird and reptile living in the Zoo today are rejoining their descendants across every trail.
Last seen in 2023, the dinosaurs are returning this fall in a bigger herd than ever. From September 2026 through April 2027, you can hear and see these prehistoric creatures up close during every Zoo visit.
Unleash your inner dinosaur expert and try your hand at digging for fossils, or snap a family photo in front of your favorite dino. Everywhere you turn, be ready to marvel at life-size dinosaurs, bones and more.
Join us on opening day, September 26, for a day full of fun and activities! More information here.
