Every raffle entry supports the construction of the Doornbos Animal Rescue and Care Center, a vital new facility that will enhance the Zoo’s ability to care for injured, orphaned and trafficked wildlife.
Anyone who is a resident of Arizona and at least 21 years or older with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Volunteers and third-party vendors of the Phoenix Zoo are eligible to win, employees of the Phoenix Zoo are not eligible to win. Sales are limited to 2,500 entries.

Win a Wild Ride Raffle ends at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Winner is randomly selected and will be contacted Friday, May 1, 2026, by email and/or phone. Winner is responsible for paying all taxes and fees, estimated amount $9,600. Winner's information will be given to Valley Toyota Dealers, to coordinate transfer of title. The Raffle winner need not be present to win. Raffle entry sales are not tax deductible. All proceeds benefit the non-profit Phoenix Zoo.
WHAT IS THE DOORNBOS ANIMAL RESCUE AND CARE CENTER?
The Doornbos Animal Rescue and Care Center is the Phoenix Zoo’s current capital fundraising project to build a new holding and quarantine facility on Zoo grounds.
Through your support, the Zoo can continue to provide a safe and supportive environment for animals rescued from dire situations, such as trafficking or neglect. The new facility will allow the Zoo to not only support more animals, but also will create a safe space for the animals to adjust to their new caregivers, routines and surroundings in a stress-free environment.

Who can enter the raffle?
Anyone who is a resident of Arizona and at least 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Volunteers and third-party vendors of the Phoenix Zoo are eligible to win, employees of the Phoenix Zoo are not eligible to win. Sales are limited to 2,500 entries.
I live part time in Arizona but am a resident of another state. Am I eligible to win the raffle?
No, according to gaming laws and regulations, only Arizona residents are eligible to win. If you’ve purchased a raffle entry but aren’t an Arizona resident, you can request a refund by contacting eventdonations@phoenixzoo.org. Refunds are only available to those who purchased raffle entries without understanding the rules and regulations and are only valid until the raffle closes at 8 p.m. MST on April 30, 2026.
I don’t like using my payment information on a website, how can I enter the raffle?
At this time, purchases can only be made online, you may do so by clicking HERE. There are currently no raffle booths planned at this time.
I am having issues with the GiveSmart sales site, what can I do?
Purchases must be made either online on the GiveSmart website. If you are experiencing difficulties with the site, please contact Katie Sechrist, Donor Relations Specialist, at eventdonations@phoenixzoo.org or 602.286.3855.
What are my chances of winning?
Your chances of winning depend on how many entries are sold. There will be no more than 2,500 entries sold.
I just purchased a raffle entry, how do I know that I was entered?
The receipt you received for your raffle entry purchase serves as verification. You can also check your raffle entry number(s) and any other purchases in the “My Info” tab on the GiveSmart portal.
How do I see my raffle entry number?
Your raffle entry number can be found on “My Info” tab on the GiveSmart portal, it is NOT listed on your receipt.
How will I know if I won the raffle?
The winner will be contacted on Friday, May 1, 2026, by email and/or phone. The winner will also be announced via email after the winner is reached.
What do the proceeds for the raffle fund?
All proceeds for the Win a Wild Ride Raffle benefit the construction of the Doornbos Animal Rescue and Care Center, a quarantine and holding facility. Learn more about the project here.
