Join us at ZooLights
and help end hunger in the Valley.

Did you know 1 in 4 children experience hunger in Arizona? But YOU can make a difference!

The Phoenix Zoo is proudly teaming up with Valley of the Sun United Way to support their Pantry Packs program, providing 1,500 food packs to local students, every month, during the current school year.

On select ZooLights evenings, we will be holding a Pantry Packs drive for designated, individually packaged items. Drop off boxes will be conveniently located upon entry to the Phoenix Zoo.

ZooLights Pantry Pack Nights and Items:

November 20 and 21: Animal Crackers (snack size)

December 4 and 5: Granola/Cereal Bars

December 18 and 19: Instant Mac and Cheese Cups

January 1 and 2: Peanut Butter Crackers (snack size)

January 15 and 16: Squeezy Fruit Packs

January 29 and 30:  Canned Chicken

Encouragement Cards:

Help nourish a child’s mind and inspire them do do their best every day. Create cards with positive phrases like “Keep it Up,” and more to show that a caring adult knows they will succeed! Cards should be gender and religious neutral, and should not make reference to economic status.

Encouragement cards can be dropped off on select ZooLights evenings (see above). Drop off boxes will be conveniently located upon entry to the Phoenix Zoo.

Your visit to ZooLights can help brighten a child’s life, while supporting the non-profit Phoenix Zoo too!
