Join us at the Zoo
and help end hunger in the Valley.

Did you know 1 in 4 children experience hunger in Arizona? But YOU can make a difference!

The Phoenix Zoo is proudly teaming up with Valley of the Sun United Way to support their Pantry Packs program, providing 1,500 food packs to local students, every month, during the current school year.

Now through January 31 during the day and Zoolights, we will be holding a Pantry Packs drive for designated, individually packaged items. Drop off boxes will be conveniently located upon entry to the Phoenix Zoo.

Pantry Pack  Items:

Snaks

Animal Crackers (snack size)

Granola/Cereal Bars

Instant Mac and Cheese Cups

Peanut Butter Crackers (snack size)

Squeezy Fruit Packs

Canned Chicken

Encouragement Cards:

Help nourish a child’s mind and inspire them do do their best every day. Create cards with positive phrases like “Keep it Up,” and more to show that a caring adult knows they will succeed! Cards should be gender and religious neutral, and should not make reference to economic status.

Encouragement cards can be dropped off during daytime and ZooLights visits through January 31 (see above). Drop off boxes will be conveniently located upon entry to the Phoenix Zoo.
