Now everyone can experience Night Camp! Throughout the year, the Zoo offers camps for families, homeschool groups and adults. These camps have prepared activities, plus pre-set dates and sleeping locations.

All Night Camps include: 

Pizza dinner  |  Evening snack  |  Souvenir water bottle  |  Guided trail hikes  |  Activities/games  |  Up-close animal encounters  |  For overnight camps: Continental breakfast and admission to the Zoo the next day  

Requirements: 

  • Overnight camps are only available to children 5 years and older. Please select our Twilight Camp option for children younger than 5 years of age. 
  • A minimum of one adult chaperone (at least 18 years of age) for each 10 children that attend. 
  • Full payment is due at the time of registration.

Pricing (per person): 

Twilight Camp: Members –  $54, General – $60 

Night Camp: Members – $79, General – $89

3/1/25 – 3/2/25 (Desert Tents)

Time: 6:15 p.m. – 9 a.m. (Twilight camp option ends at 10 p.m.) 

Enjoy all the fun of Night Camp alongside other families! Family camps have a variety of fun activities for all ages, plus pre-set dates and sleeping locations. 

Homeschool

Dates: 11/23/24 – 11/24/24 (Neely Center), 

3/8/25 – 3/9/25 (Desert Tents)

Time: 6:15 p.m. – 9 a.m. (Twilight camp option ends at 10 p.m.) 

Learn all about the animals that call the Zoo home alongside other homeschool groups and families! Homeschool Night Camps have STEAM activities for Grades K-12, plus pre-set dates and sleeping locations. 

Adults

Why should kids have all the fun?! Now adults can have a one-of-kind experience exploring the Zoo after dark, too! Come and enjoy all the fun of Night Camp, plus a catered dinner and drinks. Bring your friends or make some new ones while you’re here; it’s going to be a fun night!

Sleeping Area: Desert Tents

  • Permanent concrete-floored canvas tents with ceiling fans 
  • Sleeps up to 60 campers in four separate tents 
  • The space will be shared with other troops 
  • Includes centralized outdoor fire pit (weather permitting) 

Sleeping Area: Neely Events and Education Center 

  • Climate-controlled classroom 
  • Sleeps up to 60 campers in partitioned sections 
  • The space will be shared with other troops
