Member Spotlight: Eris Davidson

Born and raised on The Last Frontier, Anchorage, Alaska, where I lived for my first 29 years. Then I grew very tired of winter and darkness and came to the brightest place I could think of – Arizona!

I am a Financial Representative with COUNTRY Financial, where I have been for the past 6 years. We do all lines of insurance as well as financials and retirement planning. My specialties are life insurance and commercial, and I most enjoy working with small businesses to protect and grow their assets, as well as offering employee benefits such as 401(k) plans and Group Life.

My previous business lives include 7 years as a Residential Appraiser in Alaska and I was a Lancôme Makeup Artist and Business Manager.

I am married to Joel – who is basically Homer Simpson. I’ve always loved Homer, so I guess I brought that on myself.

I have six pets – all rescues! Duvaline (aka Junior, as he is my husband’s Mini-Me), he is a Blue Staffordshire Terrier (Pit Bull); Lilly, a Lab-Pit mix; Lulu and Yoyo, Chihuahuas, and two cats – Daisy the Marshmallow and Penelope aka Penny Lane. (They all have middle names as well, LOL).

I am active in the community and state of Arizona, as a member of WCIT, a Financial Planning member at The Forum at Revelation Real Estate, a founding member of the BNI chapter Tempe Power Partners, I am an associate member of the AZVMA, which is a Veterinarian’s Association, and I am a chamber member in Springerville-Eagar, bringing all my services to the northeast corner of AZ. I love all of these groups and am very passionate for each one, which makes my networking life extremely fun.

Personally, I like to learn about ANY topic and devour books by the armload. I listen to podcasts and read a lot about the Mafia and True Crime, and I am very interested in Czarist Russia, World War II, The Civil War, and the pre-Civil War Southern plantations. I also like to cook and bake, to practice hand-lettering style calligraphy, and I am beyond obsessed with my Erin Condren Lifeplanner. I always have at least 2 (if not 4) different drinks with me wherever I go – water and coffee at minimum – often an iced coffee AND a hot one, and usually some kind of ketone drink as well. I don’t like to be without beverages or chapstick in multiples. Ever.

When I grow up, my ultimate plan is to own a large property to run a rescue for senior dogs and cats to get them out of the shelters and surround them in love for the end of their lives.
