The Phoenix Zoo offers many ways to pay tribute to someone special including plaques, benches, tiles and other opportunities to show your care and concern. We will inform the recipient of your gift and how it helps the Zoo accomplish its mission of advancing the stewardship and conservation of animals and their habitats while providing experiences that inspire people and motivate them to care for the natural world.
Gifts of $250 and above
In memoriam gifts of $250 or more will have the person’s name listed on the “In Memory Of” section of the scrolling video donor board near the Zoo’s entrance.
Individual Tile – Gifts of $500 and above
The new, colorful Etched in Glass Donor Wall offers a unique way to pay tribute to someone special. The Etched in Glass Donor Wall is located at the exit from the Desert Marketplace gift shop and across from the Handprints in Glass Donor Wall.
Tiles come in three different sizes:
- 7” x 7“ tile, can be engraved up to 4 lines, 20 characters per line – $500
- 7” x 14“ tile, can be engraved up to 6 lines, 20 characters per line – $1,000
- 7” x 21“ tile, can be engraved up to 6 lines, 20 characters per line – $1,500
Corporate Tile – Gifts of $1,500 and above
The new Etched in Glass Donor Wall offers a distinctive way to show your company’s support of the Phoenix Zoo. Tiles can be engraved with your company’s logo.
Tiles come in three different sizes:
- 7” x 7“ tile, can be engraved up to 4 lines, 20 characters per line – $1,500
- 7” x 14“ tile, can be engraved up to 6 lines, 20 characters per line – $2,000
- 7” x 21“ tile, can be engraved up to 6 lines, 20 characters per line – $2,500
Harmony Farm – Gifts of $1,000
Harmony Farm capstones are 12” across at the widest point by 8” high. Capstones can be engraved up to seven lines, 14 characters per line.
Children’s Trail – Gifts of $2,000
These capstones measure 18” across at the widest point by 10.5” high. Capstones can be engraved up to seven lines, 18 characters per line.
Gifts of $5,000
Plaques can be engraved up to four lines, 28 characters per line. Bench placement is based on donor preference, but location is not guaranteed.
Gifts of $10,000, $15,000 and $25,000
Adopt an animal on the beautiful, hand-painted Endangered Species Carousel. These magical, playful carousel animals are sure to bring out the inner child in everyone. Located near the Zoo’s main lake, the carousel is a unique work of art hand carved and painted by skilled artisans. Adopting a carousel animal is a lasting way to honor a loved one or commemorate a special occasion. Adoption of a carousel animal is for the life of the carousel animal (an average of eight years) and a personalized plaque on your chosen animal will reflect your special message or honorarium. Plaque size is 5” x 7”. Font size and characters per line varies based on plaque verbiage.

When you choose to celebrate a pet’s life through the Pet Celebration & Memorial Program, your contribution allows the Joyce Corrigan Animal Care Center to continue to provide exceptional medical care to our Zoo patients.
This is a special opportunity to make a donation in memory of a beloved pet or to celebrate a new animal addition to your family. Upon your donation, you or your designated recipient receives a personalized certificate that announces your gift to the Zoo.

The Pet Celebration & Memorial Program is heavily supported by animal care professionals. Whether you’re assisting a family grieving the loss of a beloved friend, celebrating a client’s new family member or an animal’s healthy recovery, your donation demonstrates thoughtfulness and compassion for your clients.
