Bike to the Zoo on Saturday, April 16!
Riding your bike, instead of driving in a car, is a great way to cut down on pollution and create a cleaner environment for all creatures great and small.
- Phoenix Artists Guild
- Watch local artists demonstrate their medium of art.
- Take part in activities that connect you with nature.
- iNaturalist Bird Watching Station
- Learn more about bird watching and how to use iNaturalist on your cell phone.
These activities will be taking place at Lemur Lane and Zebra Overlook
- Citizen’s Climate Lobby
- Take part in an activity that teaches you about climate change.
- Maricopa County Air Quality
- Take part in an activity that teaches you about pollution.
- Zero Waste – City of Phoenix
- Take part in an activity that teaches you how to sort materials, and learning what is recyclable.
These activities will be taking place at Lakeside.
- Flood Control District of Maricopa County
- Learn about sustainability, low impact design and green infrastructure.
- Play with a interactive flood control, which simulates a rainstorm under three conditions.
- Bee Activities
- Make a bee habitat and learn all about these special creatures.
- Fish & Wildlife and Phoenix Zoo
- Learn how to make your home wildlife-friendly.
- Plant Station
- Learn how to use items you have at home to plant flowers, veggies and more.
These activities will be taking place at Savanna Park.
