As you explore, look for the Species Survival Plan® (SSP) symbol and the AZA SAFE: Saving Animals From Extinction symbol. SSP Programs are shared management efforts by zoos and aquariums throughout the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The SAFE program focuses on conservation efforts in the field.
