Additional Ways to Support Wildlife and Conservation

Support for the Phoenix Zoo comes in many forms. In addition to traditional donations, many supporters choose to give through unique assets, workplace programs or everyday activities that help advance animal care and conservation.

Exploring these options may allow you to extend your impact in ways that align with your interests, resources, or professional connections.

MONTHLY GIVING

Another simple way to make a lasting difference is through monthly giving. Recurring gifts provide dependable support for the animals and conservation programs that depend on the Zoo every day.

Members of the Zoo’s monthly giving community, the Wolf Pack, provide steady support that helps sustain animal care throughout the year.

Many companies offer matching gift programs, allowing employees to multiply the impact of their charitable contributions.

If your employer participates in a matching gift program, your donation to the Phoenix Zoo may be eligible to be matched, sometimes doubling or even tripling the value of your support.

Check with your employer’s human resources department to learn if matching gifts are available.

You can also support the Phoenix Zoo through everyday purchases made with participating retailers.

Programs such as Fry’s Community Rewards and American Express Members Give allow a portion of eligible purchases to benefit the Zoo’s conservation and education programs.

These programs are an easy way to help support wildlife at no additional cost to you.

AMERICAN EXPRESS MEMBERS GIVE PROGRAM

You can now support the Phoenix Zoo by using your American Express® Card! Members Give Online allows you to make a donation using your American Express® Card or, if you are enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program.

FRY'S COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM

The Zoo is proud to be part of the Fry’s Community Rewards program and now you can help support the Zoo every time you shop at Fry’s Food Stores. Find out how you can link your Fry’s V.I.P Card today!

Donations of tangible personal property can support the Zoo’s mission in meaningful ways. Items such as collectibles, equipment, or other valuable assets may be accepted depending on their condition and relevance.

Examples may include:

Collectibles or memorabilia

Specialized equipment

Valuable collections

Our team can work with you to determine whether a gift of personal property may be appropriate and how it could benefit the Zoo.

Real estate gifts can be a powerful way to support wildlife and conservation. Donors sometimes choose to contribute to residential, commercial or undeveloped property.

These gifts may offer potential tax advantages while allowing the value of the property to support the Zoo’s mission.

Real estate gifts may include:

Primary or vacation homes

Undeveloped land

Commercial property

Agricultural land

Our team can help explore whether a real estate gift may be a good fit.

Art collections can be another meaningful way to support the Phoenix Zoo. In some cases, donated artwork may be displayed, used in special events, or sold to benefit conservation and animal care programs.

Each potential gift of art is reviewed individually to ensure it aligns with the Zoo’s needs and policies.

GUARDIAN CONSERVATION SOCIETY

Supporters who make leadership gifts of $1,500 or more annually are welcomed into the Guardian Conservation Society, the Phoenix Zoo’s premiere philanthropic community supporting animal care, conservation and education programs.

Guardian Conservation Society members receive several exclusive benefits, including experiences with the experts behind animal care and conservation.
